Your hair colourist in Old Fletton, Peterborough
I’m Tanya, and I’ve been hairdressing since 2007. I hold a Level 3 qualification in hairdressing, and colour is one of the things I specialise in, alongside highlights and hair extensions. I work on my own in a private studio at home in Old Fletton, so your appointment is one to one, and I use only organic and vegan products.
Which colour service is right for you?
- Full hair colour or re-colouring: all-over colour, whether you’re refreshing your shade or changing it. Full hair colour takes about 1 hour 30 minutes and starts from £60. Re-colouring takes about 2 hours 15 minutes and is £65.
- Half or full head highlights: lighter pieces placed through the hair for brightness and dimension, finished with a toner to fine-tune the shade. Toner is included in both.
- Balayage: colour painted on by hand for a soft, blended result. Allow about 4 hours. Read more about balayage in Peterborough.

How a colour appointment works
- Patch test. This is needed at least 48 hours before any colour service. If you haven’t had one with me before, call 07804 578775 before booking.
- Book on Fresha. Pick your service and time. Your confirmation includes the studio address.
- Your appointment. We’ll talk through the look you’d like before I start, and I’ll explain each step as we go.
- Aftercare. Before you leave, I’ll talk you through how to look after your hair at home.

How much does hair colour cost?
Full hair colour is from £60 (about 1 hour 30 minutes) and re-colouring is £65 (about 2 hours 15 minutes). Half head highlights with toner are from £60, full head highlights with toner from £75, and balayage from £120. Prices marked “from” can vary with hair length and thickness.
Do I need a patch test before colour?
Yes. A patch test is needed at least 48 hours before any colour service. If you haven’t had one with me before, please get in touch before booking: call 07804 578775.
What products do you use?
I use only organic and vegan products.
Which colour service should I book?
If you’d like one all-over shade, look at full hair colour or re-colouring. For brightness and dimension, choose half or full head highlights, which include toner. For a soft, hand-painted blend, see balayage in Peterborough. If you’re not sure, ask me when you arrange your patch test.
Is there a discount if I bring a friend?
Yes. You both get 20% off any colour service or a wash, cut and blow-dry when you both book. There’s no discount without a friend.
Why do some prices say “from”?
Some treatments depend on your hair’s length and thickness, or on what you’d like done. You’ll see the latest prices on Fresha when you book.
Where is the studio?
The studio is in Old Fletton, Peterborough. It’s a private studio in my home, so it’s appointments only. Your Fresha booking confirmation includes the address. Parking is available, it’s near public transport, and it’s wheelchair accessible.
How do I book?
Book online through Fresha (opens in a new tab) or in the free Fresha app, up to 5 months ahead. You’ll get a confirmation from Fresha, and it includes the studio address.
What if I need to cancel or rearrange?
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your appointment. Cancellations within 48 hours are charged 50% of the service price, and no-shows are charged in full.
How can I pay?
Pay by card in person or through Fresha.
